Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to support the Radiation Oncology Department by localizing tumors, participating in treatment planning, and delivering prescribed radiation treatments under the direction of Radiation Oncologists. The therapist will ensure safe, accurate, and compassionate patient care while maintaining departmental quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tumor localization and assist with radiation treatment planning.
• Deliver prescribed therapeutic radiation treatments accurately and safely.
• Follow treatment plans and instructions provided by Radiation Oncologists.
• Utilize CT simulation techniques for treatment planning and patient positioning.
• Maintain knowledge of departmental procedures, specialized equipment, quality control, and preventive maintenance.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and maintain high patient-care standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and members of the healthcare team.
• Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with department policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• ARRT Radiation Therapy certification required.
• California Department of Health Services Therapeutic Radiologic Technologist license required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• CT Simulation experience required.
• Elekta Mosaiq experience required.
• Proficiency with Radiation Oncology EMR (Mosaiq) and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.

Important: Candidates must have ARRT Radiation Therapy + California Therapeutic RT license, BLS, CT Simulation experience, and Elekta Mosaiq experience.
