🚨 Travel CVICU Registered Nurse | Nights | 13-Week Contract

Join a high-acuity Cardiovascular ICU team caring for critically ill cardiac patients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

📍 Location: Kentucky
🩺 Specialty: CVICU RN
🌙 Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12s)
📅 Contract: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

✅ Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience
✅ Active Kentucky or Compact RN License (required at submission)
✅ BLS, ACLS & NIHSS certifications required
CCRN preferred
ECMO experience preferred

Unit Highlights:

  • High-acuity Cardiovascular ICU
  • Float within the hospital or affiliated facilities as needed
  • Traveler-friendly orientation
  • Billable orientation modules

Candidate Requirements:

  • Local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted
  • At least 1 professional reference required at submission
  • Requested Time Off (RTO) must be submitted with the application
  • No licensure disciplinary history accepted
  • Previous employment with the health system must be disclosed at submission

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
