Description
Shift: 12H Nights 7p-7a, EOW first to float
Unit: L&D- # beds: 8 rooms, can go to 10 rooms
- Certs: BLS, NRP, Advanced Fetal Monitoring
- Ratios: 1 to 1 or 1 to 3
- EMR: Cerner and Fetal Link
- Charge Nurse: Yes, doesn't take patients
Nurse Aides: OB techs (they scrub and can also function as nurse aide)
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekend
- Holidays: Work in with core rotation
- Scrub Color: hospital provided ceil blue
- Tele: Central fetal heart monitor
- Vent: No
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: OB/GYN
- IV Team: Yes, during day- RT 24/7: Yes- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes- Shifts: 7a, 7p (12 hour shifts)- Floating; To Mother baby- Floor specific orientation; 3 shifts on unit-
