Banner Estrella Medical Center is a 317-bed Level I Trauma Center and the only adult trauma center in the West Valley caring for patients ages 15 and older, providing comprehensive trauma care without the need for transfer. Position Details
- Department: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- Schedule: Days | 4x10-hour shifts
- Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Call Required: Yes
CVOR Department
Our CVOR team supports a wide variety of surgical specialties, including:
- Spine
- Total Joint
- Laparoscopic Appendectomy & Cholecystectomy
- Gynecology
- Urology
- Robotic (da Vinci DV5)
- 12 Operating Rooms
- Approximately 30 surgeries performed daily
Compensation
Hourly Pay Based on Experience
Differentials
- Nights: 18% above base pay
- Weekends: $3.00/hour
Sign-On Bonus
$15,000 Sign-On Bonus
Call Information
- On-Call Pay: $5/hour while on call
- Call Back: Double-time pay with a 2-hour minimum guarantee
- 30-minute response time
- Weekend call is part of the rotation and varies based on staffing needs. Currently, staff typically volunteer for approximately half of the weekend days during a six-week rotation, and call-ins are infrequent.
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- ADN or BSN required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent CVOR nursing experience
- BLS (additional certifications may be required upon hire)
