We are seeking a Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for a 13-week Skilled Nursing Facility contract in Laconia, New Hampshire. This post-acute rehab opportunity offers the chance to work with adult and geriatric patients while helping them improve independence, safety, mobility, and overall functional ability.

This is a great fit for a COTA who enjoys hands-on patient care, working under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, and supporting patients as they progress toward their rehab goals.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients with ADL retraining, functional mobility, upper extremity activities, transfer training, and adaptive equipment use.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising OT.
• Educate patients on safety strategies, home exercise programs, and functional independence techniques.
• Complete timely documentation and progress notes.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehab team to support patient outcomes.
