Position Details
Position: EEG Technician
Shift: Days, 4×10 hours
Schedule: Sunday–Monday–Thursday? The posting states “Sh-M-Th 7-1700”
Hours: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Contract: 13 Weeks
Requirements
- Experience performing adult and pediatric EEGs
- Routine EEG experience
- Ambulatory EEG experience
- R EEG T certification through ABRET – preferred
- Must maintain current professional credentials and demonstrate competency through ABRET certification
Key Responsibilities
- Perform standard and ambulatory EEGs.
- Complete accurate patient assessments.
- Provide patient education.
- Ensure quality EEG data acquisition.
- Maintain EEG/lab equipment.
- Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards.
- Participate in quality assurance activities.
- Complete thorough documentation.
- Prepare concise preliminary reports.
- Process interpreted study reports.
- Handle accurate billing documentation.
