Description
Job Description:
Provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in an acute care setting. Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, care coordination, direct patient care, patient and family education, and discharge planning. Collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care while following hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Active California RN License
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS (required within 180 days of hire)
- TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course (required within 180 days of hire)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification (required within 90 days of hire)
