Description
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based
Contract Length: 42 Weeks (2026–2027 School Year)
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift: Days
Hours: 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Position Overview:
- Provide speech-language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services to students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Support students in achieving communication goals within the educational setting.
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements:
- Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License.
- Washington ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification.
- Licenses and credentials preferred at the time of submission and must be issued prior to the start date.
- School-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Additional Information:
- 2026–2027 School Year assignment.
- The district will not apply for licenses or credentials on behalf of the candidate.
