CLINICAL INTERVIEW W/MGR REVIEW

General Information:
Beds: 59
Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? 1 year of DON experience
Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, as long as they have DON experience

Required Certifications:  BLS

Technology/Equipment:
EMR: Point Click Care
Medication dispensing: Locked med carts

Patient Types:  LTC patients; Geriatrics and there is also a secured, locked unit for Dementia patients

Patient Ratios:  Will take patient assignments to cover any staffing shortages: Days 1:20; Nights 1:36

Skills required:  Leadership skills, conflict resolutions, knowledge of Montana nursing home regulations (will be trained if needed), communication skills, rounding, staff coaching, gathering staff input, engaging with staff and resident care

Floating: If yes, where?  none

Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: possibly 1-2 times a month, depending on the needs
Call? Varies – could be every other weekend; call is in rotation with the Administrator
Holiday Expectations: Varies
Approval of time off: up to 3 days
Shift times: 0800-1700, but could vary based on any situations occurring at the time

Scrub Color: Business casual while DON; any color scrubs if taking patient assignments
