Job Description:
Take on a dynamic travel nursing assignment at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC! We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for day shifts (06:45–19:15) backed by 36 guaranteed weekly hours starting August 31, 2026. Join a high-volume, state-of-the-art Birthing Care Unit delivering world-class maternal-fetal care in heart of Charlotte. First-time travelers with strong high-volume experience are welcome! Contract Details:
- Start Date: August 31, 2026.
- Duration: 13 to 26-week contracts available.
- Schedule: Day shifts (06:45 – 19:15) | 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week (3x12s) | Every other weekend | No call.
- Location: Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center (200 Hawthorne Lane, Charlotte, NC).
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of acute L&D experience in a large/high-volume facility; competencies in circulating C-sections, SVEs, and immediate newborn care.
- Licensure & Certifications: Active North Carolina or compact RN license (pending accepted at submittal); active AHA BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications.
- Policy Note: Strict RTO policy (max 7 days at submission; no post-booking RTO requests allowed).

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
