Pay & Schedule

• Shift: 8-hr Day Shift, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (Monday–Friday), 40 hrs/week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (88 days)
• Weekend Rotation: None
• On Call: No
• Holidays: Unit closed on major holidays
• Schedule Cycle: 4–5 weeks at a time

• Note: Shift times may vary — some staff work 10-hour shifts instead of 8 

   

• Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care, PACU, or CCU experience
• BLS, ACLS required
• First-time travelers accepted

Skills Needed

• Neurovascular checks (may include Dopplers)
• Comfortable with drips (rarely pressors; nitro and heparin most common)
• Site management (femoral or radial access), TR band or groin device compression experience
• Post-anesthesia experience, basic BP management
• Preferred but not required: experience with Swan-Ganz, temporary pacing wires, A-lines
• No ventilators; rarely BiPAP
• EKG, glucometer, and iSTAT checkoffs completed during orientation
