Description
This position is for three 12 hour day shifts a week in one of the Monument Health Urgent Care locations (Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 6:45am to 7:00 pm).
- About Facility:
- New FSED opening June 10th
- 1911 Mall Dr. Rapid City, SD 57701
- 9 ED Rooms, 2 Inpatient Hold Rooms, 1 CT Room, 1 X-ray Room
- Unit Information:
- Beds: 1 CT Room, 1 X-ray Room
- Census? Average patients/day? TBD - This is a new facility. Planning for 1 patient every 30 minutes from 0700-1900.
- Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years of CT experience; send for manager approval if it has been some time since candidate has done x-ray
- Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, as long as they’re comfortable working independently

Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
