Position Details

Position: RN – Prep/Recovery (PACU)
Facility: Advocate Health – Atrium Health Cabarrus
Location: Concord, NC
Address: 920 Church St. N., Concord, NC 28025
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
First-Time Travelers: Yes
EMR: Epic
Radius Rule: Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the home unit

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Critical Care, PACU, or CCU experience – REQUIRED
First-time travelers accepted
Strong post-anesthesia/recovery experience preferred
Comfortable caring for cardiac and vascular procedure patients

Required Certifications

BLS
ACLS

Required Skills

Neurovascular checks, including Doppler assessments
IV medication/gtt management
Familiarity with nitroglycerin and heparin infusions
Access-site management: femoral and radial
TR Band experience
Groin compression device experience
Post-anesthesia recovery
Basic blood pressure management
EKG, glucometer, and iSTAT competency
