Description

  •  
    • Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 years of CT experience; send for manager approval if it has been some time since candidate has done x-ray
    • Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, as long as they’re comfortable working independently
  • Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
    • Peds-geriatrics
    • Will have walk-in ED patients (not accepting ambulances at this time)
    • Will also see some scheduled outpatient scans for CT and X-ray as well as walk-ins and from the ER
    • Extremities, spine, abdomen, general CT and X-ray scans
    • No neuro or cardiac (except for stroke; will be transferred out quickly), no special procedures
  • Required License, National Certification, Certs:
    • BLS, ARRT-CT
    • No state license required for SD
    • Graduate of Radiology school
  • Skills required:
    • Experience with above patient types. Must be comfortable performing CT and x-ray duties
    • Must be comfortable working independently as they will be solo CT/X-ray Tech

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
