SIMPLI FI CLINICAL INTERVIEWS

EXP REQ: 2 yrs. Traches, cardiac gtt experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, management of central lines.

CERTS REQ: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS

Patient Ratios:  RN: 1:4 is most common; could possibly go to 1:5 depending on acuity

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:  Could see any patient not requiring mechanical ventilation – CHF, Dysrhythmia, Chest Pain work up, Stroke, Abdominal illnesses and infections, Respiratory illness, Diabetes, AKI/CKD, ETOH withdrawal, IVDA, etc.

Patient Ratios:  RN: 1:4 is most common; could possibly go to 1:5 depending on acuity

Technology/Equipment:
EMR: EPIC
IV Pump: Alaris
Med dispensing: Omnicell
Monitors: Phillips

Floating:  Within region and scope of practice
Will be required to float per region needs – will require floating to all facilities listed below, as needed, within scope of practice – DECLINE if not agreeable
Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH)
If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)

Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: every other
No call
Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays – must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours
Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
