Travel RN – PCU / Stepdown
📍 Location: Ohio
🌙 Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
⏰ Weekly Hours: 36 hours/week | 3×12s

Position Requirements
- 18 months of permanent PCU/Stepdown experience required
- Experience must be in the specialty being applied for
- Active Ohio or Compact RN license in hand at submission
- AHA BLS required
- AHA ACLS required
- Required certifications must be active and in hand
- First-time travelers may be considered if experience requirements are met
- 1 recent specialty reference from a Manager, ANM, Supervisor, or Director required
Submission Requirements
- Standard Qualivis Cover Sheet required
- All RTO must be disclosed at submission and discussed during interview
- Candidate may only be submitted to one Cleveland Clinic Health System position at a time
- Locals accepted at the same bill rate
- No open background cases
- No license hits accepted
- BCI/FBI fingerprints must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract
Orientation & Assessments
- PBDS assessment waived
- ECG rhythm recognition test required during orientation
- SafeMedicate assessment required during orientation
- Maximum of 2 attempts for each assessment; failure may result in cancellation
- Approximately 6–15 hours of pre-start modules
- 4 hours of modules are billable; additional pre-start module time is non-billable
Additional Policies
- Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
- Permanent/per diem staff must wait 1 year after their previous end date before returning as travelers
- Travelers may remain on assignment for up to 18 months
- A 6-month break is required before returning unless client-approved

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.
Cons
Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
