Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12-hour night shift role in the Emergency Department in Auburn, New York. This travel/contract position offers guaranteed 36 hours per week, with a flexible start date of August 24, 2026. Nurses will work three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend. Key responsibilities include interpreting and managing heart rhythm changes, caring for critically ill patients, administering blood products, managing central lines, triage, and ventilator care. Candidates must have a minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience and at least 2 years of recent ER experience. Proficiency in managing stroke patients, performing arterial blood gas (ABG) interpretation, managing BiPAP/CPAP, and following isolation precautions is required. Licenses and certifications required include an active NY or compact state nursing license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS. A background free of disciplinary issues is mandatory.
