Nurse Manager - Patient Care Service
Location
New York, New York
Schedule
- Day shift
- 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Administrative (3 years of experience)
- Administrative experience within the last year
- Charge Nurse or Supervisory experience
- ED - Emergency Department experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing or a health-related field
- 3–5 years of nursing clinical care experience
- Charge nurse or supervisory experience
Role Overview
- Leads nursing practice using relationship-centered care and modified primary nursing principles
- Oversees purposeful hourly rounding and patient experience practices
- Supports patient safety, quality improvement, and compliance initiatives
- Collaborates with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and nursing leadership
- Addresses patient concerns and service recovery in a timely manner
