Description
RN – Med/Surg/Tele Travel Contract
- Specialty: RN – Med/Surg/Tele
- Location: Iowa
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
- Weekend: Every other weekend (EOW)
- Holidays: Every other holiday (EOH)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg/Tele patients.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Assess patient conditions and report changes.
- Manage IVs, medications, and other nursing interventions.
- Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team.
- Follow hospital policies and patient-safety standards.
Requirements:
- Active Iowa RN license or compact RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Med/Surg and Tele experience.
- Strong cardiac monitoring/telemetry skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts.
- Willingness to work every other weekend and holiday.
