Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) for an exciting travel opportunity. This fast-paced Emergency Department treats a diverse patient population ranging from urgent care and behavioral health patients to pediatric, critical care, and trauma cases. Nurses will have the opportunity to utilize advanced critical care skills while working within a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to providing safe, high-quality patient care.

- Contract Length: 8 Weeks
- Schedule: 3x12 Day Shifts
- Hours: 36 Hours per Week
- Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Openings: 2
- Patient Ratio: Up to 5:1
- Interview Required: Yes
- Travel Requirement: Must live 50+ miles from the facility
Unit Overview
The Emergency Department is a high-acuity environment caring for patients across all levels of illness and injury. Nurses are expected to manage a wide variety of emergency situations while demonstrating strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department setting.
- Prioritize care based on patient acuity and clinical presentation.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond rapidly to changes in status.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic care environment.
- Support positive patient experiences while delivering high-quality emergency care.
