MS/Tele RN Travel Contract

Job Overview

Location: Chesapeake, Virginia
Setting: 28-bed post-operative unit with medical-surgical overflow and telemetry monitoring capability
Schedule options: 3x12s or 4x12s
Shift: Night, 19:00–7:30
Hours per week: 48
Contract length: 13 weeks

Patient Population

Orthopedic
Spinal surgery
Bariatric surgery
Colorectal surgery
Level III trauma
Medical-surgical overflow as census permits

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Required Certifications

BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association

Schedule Expectations

Every other weekend
Floating
Holidays within the contract
Travelers must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays

No license or background hits accepted
Completed Qualivis Cover Sheet
Current NURSYS report
All requested time off listed on the Qualivis Cover Sheet
