RN – Med Surg / Stroke Stepdown | Utica, NY

MVHS Inc. – Wynn Hospital | 13 Weeks | Nights

Start Date: 08/31/2026
Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Guaranteed: 36 hrs/week
Unit: 64-bed MS Stroke Stepdown
Patient Population: Adults
Common Diagnoses: Stroke, AMS, renal/dialysis, COPD, CHF, pneumonia, pulmonary issues
Experience: 2+ years recent Med Surg with Stroke/Stepdown experience required
License: Active NY RN license
Certifications: AHA BLS & NIHSS required (NIHSS may be obtained before start)
EMR: Epic
Travel Experience: Required
Floating: Required
Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed
Scrubs: Navy Blue
On-Call: None
Equipment: IV pumps, NG tubes, feeding tubes
