Description
Travel RN / Surgical Tech – Endoscopy (Gastroenterology)
Facility: San Juan Regional Medical Center
Location: Farmington, New Mexico
Department: Main Endoscopy
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Trauma Level: III
Patient Population: Adults
EMR: Cerner
Position Details
- Role: RN and/or Surgical Tech
- Specialty: Endoscopy / Gastroenterology
- Experience Required: 3 years
- Intraprocedure technical experience is mandatory
- Gastroenterology experience is mandatory
- Procedural Tech experience required
- Possible floating to Pre-Op when Endoscopy cases are low
- Weekend and evening on-call required
- Patient ratio: 1:2
- Unit has 7 beds

- Therapeutic injection / polyp raising / tattooing

- ERCP cannulization
- Biliary duct dilation
- Lithotripsy
- Stent placement
- Sphincterotomy
- Balloon sweep
- Basket retrieval
- Contrast injection
- Endoscopic hemostat
- Argon Plasma Coagulation (APC)
