Position Details: Respiratory Therapy Night Shift Charge Therapist
Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Setting: Public health and teaching hospital
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to serve as the Night Shift Charge Therapist. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing respiratory therapy operations during the overnight shift while providing clinical support to staff and ensuring adequate departmental coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assign staff workloads for each shift
- Manage call-outs and arrange staffing coverage as needed
- Provide leadership and support to respiratory therapy staff
- Assist with equipment setup and operational needs
- Serve as a resource for clinical and departmental issues during the shift
- Help maintain efficient department workflow and patient care standards
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
- Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- No weekends required
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Minimum 5 years of respiratory therapy experience
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
- Current Massachusetts Respiratory Therapist License
