Inpatient Acute Care OT Opportunity – Greenville, MS

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week Inpatient Acute Care assignment at Delta Health – The Medical Center in Greenville, Mississippi.

This is an especially good opportunity for an OT who wants to gain or continue building hospital-based experience. First-time travelers are welcome, and the facility only requires a minimum of one year of OT experience.

• Work alongside an interdisciplinary hospital team

Qualifications Required

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current Mississippi OT license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of OT experience
• Current BLS certification
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively with medically complex patients
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills

What You'll Do

• Evaluate hospitalized patients and establish individualized plans of care
• Assess ADLs, functional mobility, strength, cognition and safety
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve independence with daily activities
• Assist with discharge planning and recommendations for the appropriate next level of care
• Provide patient and caregiver education
• Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, physicians, case management and other members of the hospital team
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
