Description
L&D / OB RN – Days | Fort Defiance, AZ
Location: Fort Defiance, AZ
Pay: $50/hour on W2
Weekly Stipend: $1,246/week
Weekly Gross: $3,046/week
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Contract: 16 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Days
Schedule: Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of recent L&D, Postpartum & Newborn experience
- Active Arizona RN license or Multistate License
- BLS, ACLS & NRP
- AWHONN Advanced FHM required
- RNC-EFM may substitute for AWHONN FHM
- STABLE
- Must be willing to float to other qualified departments as needed
- Charge nurse experience/training may be required

- Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI)
- Babies room-in with moms
- Approximately 40 deliveries/month
- Approximately 6 C-sections/month
- May occasionally cover as charge nurse after training
