Professional Requirements:

Adheres to dress code, appearance is neat and clean, wears identification while on duty, and reports to work on time as scheduled. Use of the computerized time system correctly.

Completes annual education requirements, attends annual review, continuous quality improvement activities (CQI), staff meetings and performs departmental in-service.

Always maintains and ensures patient/resident and employee confidentiality.

Perform duties in a safety-conscience manner to eliminate or reduce the likelihood of work-related injury or illness. Maintains awareness of staff adherence to safety procedures.

Prioritizes and flexibility in organizing and adapting to changing needs of the department to provide the best patient care and efficiency.            

Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.

Works at maintaining a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with physicians, departments and staff.

Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices.

Communicates the mission, ethics, and goals of the facility, as well as the focus statement of the department.

Regulatory Requirements:

·         Doctorate of Pharmacy degree required.

·         Current California Pharmacy License.

·         Minimum of one-year of pharmacy experience.
AHA BLS required

Skills:

·         Possesses basic computer knowledge.

·         Proficient in using Automated Dispensing Unit, IV Laminar Flow Hood, eHR

systems.

·         Self-directed,  motivate, able to prioritize work, and capable of supervising support personnel.
