Position: RN Hospice Director/Administrator
Location: Uvalde, TX
Facility: Uvalde Memorial Hospital
Shift: 8-Hour Days | 40 Hours/Week
Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 08/31/2028
Weekly Gross: $3,026/week
W2 Taxable: $44.50/hour
Weekly Per Diem: $1,246/week (Non-Taxable)

Position Highlights:

• Lead and oversee all hospice department operations and patient care activities
• Provide clinical leadership and ensure quality, compassionate end-of-life care
• Manage staffing, scheduling, performance, and staff development
• Oversee compliance, quality improvement, budgeting, billing, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with hospital leadership, physicians, staff, and community organizations
• Direct patient care may be required when needed
• Temp-to-perm opportunity available

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN License
• 2 years of hospice administration experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• 16 hours of hospice-specific administrative education required within 12 months of hire
