Schedule

• Shift: 8–10 hour shifts
• Weekday Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Weekend Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Holidays: Every other holiday rotation
• On-Call/Call-Back: None
• Float: None
• Scrubs: Hospital scrubs provided

Required Qualifications

• Wisconsin Pharmacist License
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• EPIC experience highly preferred
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent responsibilities in a central inpatient pharmacy
• Hardworking, resilient, adaptable, and comfortable managing change
• Strong interpersonal/social skills

Key Responsibilities

• Verify medication orders in EPIC and ensure accurate medication processing.
• Check technician work and provide appropriate oversight.
• Respond to pharmacist phone calls and clinical pharmacy needs.
• Manage multiple responsibilities within the central inpatient pharmacy.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient IV medications.
• Prepare and manage inpatient unit-dose medications.
• Support outpatient chemotherapy services.
• Provide pharmacy services for Inpatient and Outpatient Surgery, Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, Outpatient Oncology, and ED.
• Maintain accurate medication-related documentation and support safe, timely patient care.

Pharmacy Details

• Pharmacy operating hours: 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM weekdays and 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM weekends/holidays
• Typical inpatient census: 10–15 patients
• Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent pharmacy responsibilities.
