📍 Location: Fort Defiance, AZ (Tsehootsooi Medical Center, Division of Fort Defiance)
🗓️ Start Date: 8/24/2026 (Quick Start)
⏳ Contract Length: 16 weeks
🕗 Shift: 12-hour Days — must be flexible to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
🏥 Unit: Labor & Delivery / Postpartum / OBU (BFHI, rooming-in)
🛏️ Bed Size: 50–149
🖥️ EMR: RPMS

About the Role:
Tsehootsooi Medical Center is seeking an experienced L&D/Postpartum RN for a 16-week contract. Unit averages 40 deliveries and 6 C-sections per month. May occasionally cover as Charge Nurse after completing charge training. Travelers may be asked to float to other qualified departments (patient care or task-based support).

Requirements:
✅ Minimum 5 years recent L&D, Postpartum, and Newborn experience required (more may be required in some cases)
✅ Current BLS
✅ ACLS or ALSO
✅ Current NRP
✅ AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (or RNC-EFM as substitute)
✅ STABLE certification
✅ Active, unrestricted state license
✅ Holiday coverage required
✅ Comfortable floating to other departments as needed

Pay & Rate Details:
💵 Charge Rate Differential: +$10.00/hr
💵 Guaranteed Hours: 36/week
💵 Overtime: Calculated weekly, starts after 40 hrs, paid at All-Inclusive Rate
💵 On-Call Rate: $5/hr (pager)
💵 Call-Back: 2-hour minimum, paid at All-Inclusive Rate
💵 Holiday Rate: All-Inclusive Rate
