Description

Join a dedicated Labor & Delivery team as a Travel RN in Bolivia, NC. This 26-week assignment offers the opportunity to care for patients in an LDRP and Mother/Baby setting, providing support throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care. You'll work with a collaborative team while caring for both routine and high-risk obstetric patients.
 

Highlights

• 26-week travel assignment
• Night shift: 3x12s, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
• 36 or 48 hours/week
• LDRP and Mother/Baby unit
• Couplet care
• 1:4 ratio
• Self-scheduling
• Every other weekend
• Required call: 2 shifts per 6-week schedule
• Will float to assist other units as needed, without taking an assignment
• EPIC charting
• Hospital-issued scrubs
• Approximately 800 births per year

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification
• AWHONN certification
• NRP certification
• LDRP and Mother/Baby experience
• Fetal monitoring experience, including external and internal monitoring
• Experience recognizing and treating abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Experience assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Breastfeeding/lactation support experience
• Experience with sterile vaginal/speculum exams
• EPIC experience preferred
