Location: Odessa, TX 79761
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights 3×12 (36 hrs./week), 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
Requirements:
- 2+ years of L&D RN experience
- Previous Charge Nurse experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate required
- STABLE certification required
- Experience with fetal monitoring and high-risk deliveries
- Must be comfortable with C-sections, vaginal deliveries, postpartum care, and obstetrical emergencies
Description:
Seeking an experienced L&D RN for a night-shift contract position. The RN will provide care to antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and high-risk obstetric patients. Responsibilities include fetal monitoring, assisting with vaginal and high-risk deliveries, circulating for C-sections, administering medications such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate, managing IVs, performing obstetric assessments, and caring for postpartum patients and newborns.
