Description

Title: RN – Operating Room (OR)

Location: Odessa, TX 79761

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days 4×10 — 40 hrs/week, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM

Schedule: Tuesday–Friday
Call: 1 weekday + 1 weekend/month

Requirements:

Travel experience required
Teaching hospital experience required
Community hospital experience required
LTAC experience required
Trauma Level II experience required
Trauma Level I experience preferred
Previous charge experience preferred
Preferably 3+ years of OR experience
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
Experience with Da Vinci Xi robotic surgery
Strong experience in orthopedic, trauma, general, gynecology, urology, neuro/spine, and vascular procedures
Experience with ENT, plastics, ophthalmology, and pain management preferred

Description:

Main Operating Room RN position
Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties
Experience with CVOR, General OR, Hybrid OR, Pediatrics, and Trauma is preferred
Surgical experience includes robotic, orthopedic, trauma, general surgery, gynecology, urology, neuro/spine, vascular, cardiovascular, ENT, plastics, ophthalmology, thoracic, and podiatry procedures
Familiarity with surgical safety protocols, infection control, specimen handling, blood products, conscious sedation monitoring, radiation safety, laser safety, and emergency response
Patient ratio: 1:1
Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
