About this Position
Position/Specialty: Neuro IR Tech / Neuro
Daily Caseload per tech: 4-5
Start Date: Start date will be 2-3 weeks from offer
Shift: Will work 5x8 hour shifts, 7am-3:30pm or 4x10 7a-530pm
Weekend REQ: N/A
Is on-call REQ? Every 5th weekend and one night per week. Radius should be within 30 minutes during on call.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No
Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No

Required/Preferred
Years of experience REQ: 2 years
First-timers accepted: Yes
Certifications REQ BLS, ARRT (R)
Experience REQ: Interventional Radiology and Neuro experience
Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers

Misc.
Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate
RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on manager/units needs
Guaranteed Hours: Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. If this is a problem, please ensure travelers do not confirm a new or ext assignment during the season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. The peak months for hurricane activity are August and September.
