Title: RN – Operating Room (OR)

Location: Midland, TX 79701

Duration: 16 Weeks

Shift: Days 3×12 — 36 hrs/week, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM

 

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of OR experience
• Cerner experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS required
• NIHSS required/preferred per facility requirements
• PALS preferred
• Strong experience in General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Trauma, and ENT surgery
• Pediatric OR experience preferred
• Experience with vascular, cardiovascular, gynecology, plastics, urology, ophthalmology, bariatric, and thoracic procedures preferred
• Robotic surgery experience, including Da Vinci Xi, preferred
• Must be flexible with variable scheduling and rotating days off
• Must be willing to take required call

Description:

Schedule: Variable/rotating schedule with rotating days off
Call: Required — approximately 3–6 call days per 28-day cycle
Weekend: Approximately every 4th or 5th weekend

• Urgent need for an Operating Room RN
• Support surgical procedures across General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Trauma, and ENT specialties
• Additional experience with vascular, cardiovascular, gynecology, plastics, urology, ophthalmology, bariatrics, thoracic, and pediatric procedures is highly valuable
• Responsibilities include surgical safety/time-out procedures, specimen handling, infection control, blood product administration, IV initiation, cardiac monitoring, and perioperative patient care
• Experience with robotic surgical systems, including Da Vinci Xi, Mako, Mazor, and other specialty robotics, preferred
• Patient population includes infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 13-room OR with daily census of approximately 35–40
