Title: Ultrasound Tech – General

Location: Odessa, TX 79761

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights 3×12 — 36 hrs/week, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: Friday–Sunday

 

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience
• ARDMS certification required
• BLS required
• Strong general ultrasound experience
• ER/Emergency Department experience preferred
• Experience with OB/GYN, abdominal, renal/pelvic, vascular, and small-parts ultrasound
• Experience with portable ultrasound exams
• Comfortable performing a wide variety of scans in an ER setting
• Experience with PACS
• Philips and Siemens equipment experience preferred

Description:

• General Ultrasound Tech position primarily supporting the Emergency Department
• Perform a wide variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations based on ER and hospital needs
• OB/GYN studies including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester exams, fetal anatomical surveys, amniotic fluid index, and placenta previa evaluation
• General abdominal imaging including aorta, appendix, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, and spleen
• Renal/pelvic imaging including bladder, kidneys, ovaries, uterus, and vaginal studies
• Vascular studies including upper and lower extremity venous exams and DVT evaluation
• Small-parts imaging including thyroid, superficial masses, and testicular/scrotal studies
• Experience with NICU/head imaging preferred
• Patient settings may include ER, ICU, NICU, OB, pediatrics, and adult care
