COTA Opportunity – Columbia, TN
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a Skilled Nursing Facility assignment in Columbia, Tennessee.
This is a great opportunity for a COTA who enjoys working with adult and geriatric patients and wants to make a direct impact on their ability to regain independence following hospitalization, surgery, illness, or injury.
You'll work alongside an experienced rehabilitation team providing hands-on occupational therapy focused on helping patients return to their highest possible level of function.

Qualifications Required
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current Tennessee COTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- NBCOT certification as applicable
- Current BLS certification
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working with adult and geriatric patients
- Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
- SNF or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred
What You'll Do
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Help patients improve independence with activities of daily living
- Address strength, coordination, balance, mobility, endurance, and functional skills
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities based on established plans of care
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising OT
- Collaborate with PT, PTA, SLP, nursing, and other members of the care team
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
