PTA Opportunity – Columbia, TN
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a Skilled Nursing Facility assignment in Columbia, Tennessee.
This is a great opportunity for a PTA who enjoys working with adult and geriatric patients and helping them regain strength, mobility, balance, and independence following hospitalization, surgery, illness, or injury.
You'll work alongside a Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary rehabilitation team providing hands-on therapy focused on helping patients reach their highest possible level of function.

- Work closely with a Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary rehab team

Qualifications Required
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Tennessee PTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical and documentation skills
- Comfortable working with adult and geriatric patients
- Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
- SNF or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred
What You'll Do
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Carry out established plans of care and therapeutic interventions
- Provide gait, balance, strengthening, transfer, and mobility training
- Help patients improve functional mobility and independence
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety strategies
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT
- Collaborate with OT, COTA, SLP, nursing, and other members of the care team
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
