SLP Opportunity – Seaford, DE
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a Skilled Nursing Facility assignment in Seaford, Delaware.
This is a great opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with adult and geriatric patients and wants a rehabilitation-focused caseload. You'll help patients improve communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall independence following illness, hospitalization, neurological events, or other changes in function.

- Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Work closely with PT, OT, nursing, and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications Required
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Current Delaware SLP license or ability to obtain prior to start
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), if required by the facility
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Comfortable evaluating and treating adult and geriatric patients
- Experience with dysphagia and cognitive-communication treatment preferred
- SNF or geriatric rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
What You'll Do
- Complete speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals
- Provide treatment for dysphagia and swallowing disorders
- Address cognitive-communication, memory, problem-solving, and safety awareness
- Treat speech and language impairments as appropriate
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers
- Make diet and swallowing-safety recommendations as appropriate
- Collaborate with nursing, PT, OT, physicians, dietary, and other members of the care team
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
