Inpatient Acute Care PTA Opportunity – Lehigh Acres, FL
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an Inpatient Acute Care travel assignment in Lehigh Acres, Florida.
This is a great opportunity for a PTA who enjoys the fast pace and variety of a hospital environment. You'll work alongside Physical Therapists and an interdisciplinary healthcare team to help hospitalized patients regain mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence so they can safely transition to their next level of care.

Qualifications Required
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Florida PTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Comfortable working with medically complex patients
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
- Previous acute care or hospital experience preferred
What You'll Do
- Provide physical therapy treatment under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Carry out established plans of care
- Provide gait, balance, strengthening, transfer, and mobility training
- Assist patients with bed mobility and functional transfers
- Help patients regain strength and independence following surgery, illness, or hospitalization
- Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate changes to the supervising PT
- Provide patient and caregiver education
- Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, physicians, case management, and other members of the hospital team
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
