Description
Pride Health is actively hiring a Registered Nurse to join our client's Hospice Program in a growing care team serving patients.
Job Description:
Position: Registered Nurse (Hospice)
Location: Roanoke, VA
Coverage: Travel within a 60-mile radius
Duration: 13+ Weeks Contract
Travel Pay Package: Up to $2,220/week gross (includes weekly non-taxable stipend)* Plus Mileage reimbursement
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Weekly Hour Guarantee: 40
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess patients and develop individualized hospice care plans focused on comfort and quality of life.
- Administer medications and manage pain and other end-of-life symptoms.
- Educate and support patients and families regarding hospice care and disease progression.
- Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary hospice team.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospice regulations.
