Outpatient PTA Opportunity – Kent, WA
Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an Outpatient travel assignment in Kent, Washington.
This is a great opportunity for a PTA who enjoys a traditional outpatient environment, working one-on-one with patients to improve strength, mobility, function, and help them return to the activities they enjoy.
Position Highlights
- Outpatient setting
- 13-week travel assignment
- Full-time schedule
- Primarily orthopedic caseload
- Post-operative and musculoskeletal rehabilitation
- Hands-on therapeutic exercise and functional training
- Work closely with Physical Therapists and the outpatient rehab team
Qualifications Required
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Washington PTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Current BLS certification
- Strong orthopedic treatment skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Previous outpatient experience preferred
What You'll Do
- Provide treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist
- Carry out individualized plans of care
- Provide therapeutic exercise, strengthening, mobility, and functional training
- Treat orthopedic and post-operative conditions
- Educate patients on exercises and injury prevention
- Monitor progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT
- Complete timely clinical documentation
