Requirements
MO or Compact State RN license - Required
Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience - Required
Current BLS AHA, ACLS certifications - Required
Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Travel Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) for a 13-week assignment with a leading healthcare facility. The MS/Tele RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients with acute and chronic medical conditions requiring both medical-surgical nursing care and continuous cardiac monitoring. This role involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications and treatments, interpreting telemetry rhythms, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and responding promptly to changes in patient condition.
Duties
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms, promptly identifying and reporting abnormalities.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including monitoring vital signs and recognizing changes in patient condition.
Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
Care for patients with a variety of medical, surgical, cardiac, respiratory, and post-operative conditions.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Operate and troubleshoot telemetry monitors, infusion pumps, and other clinical equipment.
Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
