HCA Florida Capital Hospital is a 266-bed acute-care hospital that has been serving the Big Bend community for more than 40 years. We offer 24/7 Emergency Services including a Pediatric ER, Senior Care ER and an Express Care ER. Our offerings also include a Bariatric Center, Behavioral Health Center, Cancer Center, Chest Pain Center w/PCI, Comprehensive Breast Center, Family Center, Heart & Vascular Center, Orthopedic Center, Physical Therapy Services, Sleep Center, Stroke Center, Surgical Services, Network-of-Care Affiliated Physician Practices, and more. In 2023, we added a 10-bed, Level 2 NICU to provide families with greater access to intensive care for made it easier for sick or premature infants.
We are a fully-accredited healthcare facility with more than 1,100 employees and 500 physicians.
