Description

Role: RN – Emergency Department (ER/ED)
Shift: 12-hour days
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour day shifts/week
Hours: 36 hours/week
Distance Requirement: Candidate must live at least 50 miles away

📋 Required Experience

Minimum 1 year of ER/ED RN experience
Current RN license
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
Travel experience preferred
BSN highly desired, but not listed as strictly required

🎓 Required Certifications

All of these are required:

NIHSS
TNCC
BLS
PALS
ACLS

🚨 ED Patient Population & Skills

This is a high-acuity, fast-paced Emergency Department that treats a wide range of patients:

Urgent-care patients
Psychiatric patients
Pediatric patients
Critical-care patients
Trauma patients

The ED nurses are expected to have experience with:

Medication titrations
Arterial lines
Massive blood transfusions
Chest tubes
Complex nursing care
