Description
The Pediatric ICU/CCU RN is a member of the Critical Care Department and manages patients with multi- system failure and a variety of life-threatening illnesses. The Pediatric ICU/CCU nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for assigned patients and is responsible to the Clinical Manager or client facility designee.
Minimum Requirements:
SHIFT: NIGHTS ONLY OR D/N ROTATING
- One year recent experience in ICU, CCU, PICU, NICU or emergency medicine required
- Level 1 or 2 trauma experience within the past 2 years
- Successful completion of Amergis Staffing Solutions testing process
- Prefers evidence of ACLS, PALS, NRP certification

APHON ACLS BLS PALS Pediatric Mixed Acuity Unit-Pedi Hem/ONC:
The Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth is a mixed acuity unit providing care for patients from birth through 18 years of age. The unit is 19 beds and services all specialties within Dartmouth Children’s. Our pediatric Hematoly/Oncolboy population makes up about 30% of our inpatient admissions. The unit supports at least 2 APHON certified RNs to staff each shift in a 3:1 ration. The Hem/ONC RN should be well versed in all pediatric cancers and therapies, and have extensive experience in caring for this patient population. The travel RN needs to also have experience with the Beacon platform.
