Description

CT Tech Position – Charlotte, NC

• Profession: Radiology / Cardiology || Specialty: CT Tech

Facility: Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, 200 Hawthorne Ln, Charlotte, NC 28204

Gross Pay: $2,550/week
• W-2 Rate: $30/hour
• Non-taxable Stipend: $1,470/week

Shift: 36 hours per week.
Schedule: 2 × 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on Saturday and Sunday, plus 1 × 12-hour mid shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) on Monday.

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of CT-tech experience
• Must have experience working in a 500+ bed hospital
• Experience with both GE and Siemens scanners is required

Position Details:
This position is in the Emergency Department (ED), working primarily on Siemens CT scanners. The role includes routine ED patients, code stroke cases, and some trauma patients. This is a very fast-paced environment.

Staffing:
• First shift: Typically 4–5 techs
• Second shift (after 5:00 PM): Typically 2–3 techs
• Third shift: Typically 1 tech
• Weekends: Typically 2 techs

Equipment & Systems: • Siemens CT scanners, GE equipment, S3000 and Sequoia systems, EPIC & Visage. • Call Requirement: NONE • Float Requirement: NONE • Travel pairs: Allowed (must be on different units and disclosed). • NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal. About the Facility: • 650-bed facility • Recently moved to Level II Trauma designation • High-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department
