Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Utica, NY

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. In this role, you will care for a diverse patient population ranging from newborns and pediatric patients to adults and geriatrics.

You will manage a wide variety of emergency cases, including stroke, trauma, cardiac arrest, and other critical conditions, while utilizing specialized equipment such as the Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. This position requires strong clinical judgment, emergency nursing skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Schedule

• 36 Hours night shifts
• Block scheduling may be available, but is not guaranteed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience
• Some pediatric Emergency Department experience
• Current and active New York RN License
• Current AHA certifications:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS
• Current:
  • NIHSS
  • TNCC
• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Valid driver's license with an address matching demographic information
• NURSYS report showing verification of:
  • Active NY RN license
  • All other RN licenses held
• Completed skills checklist matching the Emergency Department specialty
• Updated resume clearly reflecting at least 2+ years of ED experience, including pediatric experience
