Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required.
• Previous Emergency Department/ER experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to rapidly recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Ability to manage multiple patients and competing priorities in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to respond effectively during medical, cardiac, trauma, and other emergencies.
• Strong medication administration and IV therapy skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful and rapidly changing situations.
• Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, and weekends.

Education

Required:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN) from an accredited School of Nursing.

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

License

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Single-State or Compact RN License accepted, as applicable.

Required Certifications

• BLS – American Heart Association (AHA) – Required
• ACLS – American Heart Association (AHA) – Required
• PALS – American Heart Association (AHA) – Required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – Required
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) – Required

Preferred Certification

• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) – Preferred

• Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts
• Shift Type: Variable shifts, including mid and night shifts
• Weekends: Yes
