Respiratory Therapist – NICU/Pediatrics

Minimum Experience: 2 years
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Patient Population: Neonates to Pediatrics

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide respiratory care to a neonatal and pediatric patient population. The ideal candidate must have strong NICU experience, including experience with high-risk deliveries and neonatal respiratory management.

Required Certifications

BLS
ACLS
RRT
NRP
PALS

Required Clinical Experience & Skills

NICU experience
High-risk deliveries — required
Umbilical cord gas experience
Hands-on experience with Draeger and Servo I
Pulmonary toileting
ABG interpretation
Basic EKG
BiPAP and CPAP
Trach collar
Surfactant administration

Additional Details

EMR: Epic — Required
Scrub Color: Hunter Green
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Floating: May float within the facility, including adult care, and potentially to the sister campus, Piedmont Eastside South
Call: Optional opportunity to sign up for call based on volume variation
RTO: Maximum 7 days
